About the event
Each attendee will:
- learn about the benefits of plants in the classroom and plant care for student engagement and skill-building
- choose an easy-care plant for the classroom
- design and paint a pot and nameplate especially for your class plant
- mix soil for repotting when the plant has outgrown its current pot
- receive a copy of The World's Best Class Plant and ideas for engaging students with the text
- enjoy Planty o' Snacks and drinks in the company of others invested in the wellbeing of kids & plants
